Chamfered Hanging System
Our client wanted this mirror hung on their wall – but such a large mirror was too heavy to hang safely in the conventional way.
So we produced a chamfered timber system, that was glued and screwed to the back of the mirror and onto the wall.
This system means that there is now a very low risk of the mirror falling and breaking. And the big advantage of this system is that the mirror (or whatever else you choose to hang using this system) can be taken off the wall and re-used elsewhere if desired. Centring is also easy as you can slide the mirror either way.
This is not a cheap option as it takes time to fit up but it works well and importantly – looks great.
