We took a call from a lady who needed the paving tidied up as her property had been sold. This is just one of numerous jobs where a simple relay of some areas lifts the whole area back to its original state.

The pavers affected were lifted, base sand levelled and topped up where needed, pavers re-laid and the job finished with new haunching and sweeping sand applied. For a few hundred dollars the end result was very satisfying.

Soil settlement in newly constructed houses is common, even where great care and attention has been undertaken by the construction teams. In this instance the ground had dropped by about 40 mm causing the unsightly gape. In this instance I use washed bedding sand, it is stable, good for filling cracks and easy to re-level.
